Ladies do not sweat, they glisten!
May 26, 2017The summer sun is high in the sky and ladies everywhere are
sweating glistening! If you are one of over 4 million people, in the United States, affected by excessive perspiration (or hyperhidrosis) Radiant Touch Laser Center has you covered with Precision Tx.
Roughly 2.8% of the world’s population is affected by hyperhidrosis. Excessive perspiration occurs when sweat glands overreact to stimuli like physical activity, exercise, emotions or hormones and produce more sweat than the body needs to cool itself down. Physical discomfort, anxiety, embarrassment and the stress of always hiding the glistening glow of your perspiration can impact all aspects of life. Precision Tx is a one-time procedure for the sweat glands that can help with all of that.
How does it work?
Precision Tx is done under local anesthesia. A cannula is inserted under the skin, through a small incision, and thermally controlled laser energy is delivered directly to the sweat glands.
What does it feel like?
As with many other minimally invasive procedures, you may feel a light pressure and experience some soreness afterward. The soreness can be expected to resolve itself fairly quickly. Short recovery allows you to return to your normal activities with in a few days.
How long does it take?
Precision Tx is a relatively short procedure. It takes about an hour and is performed in the doctor’s office.
